LIUNA Backs Joe Cryan for State Senate

The Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA), the 25,000-member political powerhouse in New Jersey has announced its support for Joe Cryan
for State Senate in New Jersey’s 20th Legislative District.  LIUNA Vice President and Eastern Regional Manager, Raymond M. Pocino, was unequivocal in his support:

“Joe Cryan has dedicated his life to public service and what  stands out most about the man is that-- unlike so many others--Joe doesn’t live for the publicity or public adulation, rather, he works for achieving real and meaningful results.  That is the way he was as a State Assemblyman where he earned the respect of colleagues and residents alike and rose to the role of majority leader.  It is the way he operates as County Sheriff, putting public safety above all other factors. And it is the way he will operate as State Senator—focused on improving OUR lives, not his.

LIUNA represents a diverse and hardworking membership of men and women who believe that working together works best. They are unified in collective bargaining; they collaborate with their employers to construct with quality and build things on time and under budget, and they work with public officials who share their belief in creating policies in support of working families--public officials like Joe Cryan.  We are pleased to offer Joe Cryan our support.
